Offroad Syndicate Racer Subsidy Program

The Race Subsidy program has been continued for 2011.

In an effort to help support and grow the Saskatchewan Cup mountain bike series in the province, and to help with travel costs and to encourage new racers, the Offroad Syndicate is proud to announce a new racer subsidy program for our members.

Offroad Syndicate members will receive a $20 subsidy for every Sask Cup Mountain Bike Race they complete in 2010, to a maximum of $100 per racer. Any ORS member can benefit, no matter what age or category you race.

The subsidy you collect is yours to do with as you wish. You may also choose to put the funds towards other club-related items:

  • club clothing
  • personalized coaching program
  • use it to pay for XC8 or Wascana Challenge entry fees
  • you can also donate it back to the club if you want, members who do so will be recognized.

To qualify for the subsidy you must:

  • Be a member of the SCA (Licensed Rider Membership) and be a member of the Offroad Syndicate
  • You must attend the ORS AGM in the fall to collect your subsidy, no exceptions.
  • You must wear the most current ORS team jersey during the race (White+Red or White+Green)
  • You must race for the "Offroad Syndicate" club and complete your race.
  • You must voluteer as the timer for ONE Wednesday Night Race, OR put in ONE full day of Trail Maintenance prior to either the Wascana Challenge or XC8.

If you have never done timing for a Wednesday race, we will teach you before the start of the race. We need one person per week to do timings, but two people is a plus.
To sign up for the date you want to do timing, please contact:

  • Jeremy Erdmann (Weekly Race Director)
  • offroadsyndicate@hotmail.com

We hope to see you join the Offroad Syndicate Racing Team and have a great season rippin it up on the Sask Cup series.
